Overall, Richard Nixon is known as a complex and controversial historical figure. Richard Nixon impacted not only America but the whole world by his Environmental Protective Agencies and all his other policies and acts. Richard Nixon was also the first person to start war on cancer, and the first person to take chair over the Apollo 11 moon landing in July 1969, officially marking the ending of the space race, and being re-elected again in 1972. The negative aspect of Richard Nixon was the disputed Watergate scandal that brought misery for Nixon life in presidency and all of America.

scandal. Nixon's approval ratings fell to 48%, 53% of the American public came

Richard Nixon is one to reflect and wonder about the life of many achievements and controversy he has faced during his time as the 37th president of the United States of America. After he resigned from the office, during the 20 years of retirement he then went onto being an author and writing 9 books, he also travelled overseas to rebuild his own image trying to be a better version of himself than before. On April 22nd, 1994, Richard Nixon the 37th president of the United States of America died from a severe stroke at the age of 81. Richard Nixon will always be remembered; he was a controversial historical figure.
